Do I need a website?
Websites are often one of the first things people check to see if you are current, credible, and worth working with. Social media plays a role too, but your website is where people go to make a decision. Landing page websites are a great cost effective way to get online, but they are not the best option for SEO?AIO (if you are wanting to be found online). Talk to us about what the best option is for you.
How much do you charge for a website?
A website landing page, designed properly, with started SEO, help with content, and a keen eye for branding starts at $1000+gst. For multiple pages we charge up to $3500+gst.
What about ongoing costs?
From $29+gst per month (or $299+gst per year if billed annually) for a single page website, or $45+gst for multiple page websites ($450 per year if billed annually). Who looks after my site after handover.
You do, with backup. Once your site goes live, you get the keys to edit text, images and pages yourself, and Rocketspark's NZ-based support team is available by phone or email if you get stuck. Rocketspark handles hosting and security. If you'd rather not touch it, we can make updates for you on request.
Who owns my website and content?
You own your content, images and branding. Your site is hosted on Rocketspark and your domain is registered in your name. However if you choose to move away from the Rocketspark platform there will be costs to do so.
What about SEO / AIO?
Our content writing aims to boost your website's visibility, but a #1 Google ranking is an ambitious goal. SEO and AIO are ongoing efforts, and some factors are beyond our control. If you have big SEO or AIO goals, we recommend working with a specialist. Our web packages cover the basics only: keyword research, meta tags, image descriptions and connecting your site to Google.
